Starting at 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 6, 2011, Washington Street will be closed until further notice due to forecasted rain and in preparation to pump storm water across Washington Street. Washington Street will be closed periodically as necessary to reduce water levels in the storm water ditch.
Closures of Washington Street will be implemented periodically as needed and at times without public notice.
During the closures, southbound traffic will be detoured on Wachter Avenue to University Drive and northbound traffic will be detoured to Burleigh Avenue to South 12th Street or University Drive
