The Bismarck Fire Department held a promotional and retirement recognition ceremony at Fire Station 4 on October 11th, 2024. Congratulations to the three newly promoted Captains and one Battalion Chief: (Pictured from left to right) Captain Dustin Beilke, Captain Jared Frank, Battalion Chief Luke Teagle, and Captain Trent Johnson. Bismarck Fire Department is extremely proud of these men for all their hard work and dedication.
In addition to these promotions, the BFD also recognized five retirements: (Pictured from left to right) Senior Firefighter Mike Miller 35 years of service, Battalion Chief Jeff McConnell with 35 years of service, Captain Joey Vander Vliet with 27 years of service, Senior Firefighter Jon Zainhofsky with 33 years of service(not pictured), and Training Captain Frank Smith with 35 years of service (not pictured). The Bismarck Fire Department is grateful for the many years of selfless service these men have given to the department and the citizens of Bismarck.
