Severe flooding is making mail delivery tricky in the several areas of North Dakota.
Local Post Offices remain open and mail delivery is being attempted. But the dozens of roads under water may mean that some customers will see delivery curtailed, possibly for an extended period of time.
Customers whose homes or businesses can not be reached can pick up their mail at:
Bismarck: Bismarck Processing & Distribution Facility, 2220 E. Bismarck Expy.; between the hours of Noon -- 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Use the phone in the lobby area to call for assistance.
Mandan: Mandan Post Office, 300 Collins Ave.; 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday, 9-11 a.m. Saturday.
Customers served by other offices should contact their local Post Office to discuss options.
