Notice is hereby given that the MPO will hold a public hearing on Monday, March 18, 2024 at 10:00am regarding proposed changes to the MPO Title VI Non-Discrimination/ADA Program Access Plan. The meeting will be held in conjunction with the regularly scheduled meeting of the MPO Technical Advisory Committee in the Tom Baker Meeting Room of the City/County Building at 221 N 5th St, Bismarck, ND.
The purpose of the Title VI Plan is to identify the MPO’s responsibilities in complying with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and/or Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973; and all related regulations and statutes. Following the consideration period of citizen’s comments, the proposed changes will be presented to the MPO Policy Board for possible adoption, contingent upon no substantive change required due to public comments.
The public is invited to submit written comments to the MPO no later than 9:00 am, Monday, March 18, 2024 to P.O. Box 5503, Bismarck, North Dakota, 58506. E-mail comments should be identified as public input on the proposed changes to the Title VI Plan.
