Several people have telephoned the flood hotline requesting assistance with placing sandbags to protect their property. The Bismarck Police Department wants to establish a list of people who are willing to volunteer to assist in placing these sandbags. The Police Department will coordinate the request for assistance with those volunteering to assist.
Anyone who is willing to volunteer to place sandbags, please contact the flood hotline at 355-1659. Your name and availability status - time and dates available to help - will be placed on a list and you will be notified when needed. Transportation to the placement location will be provided by Bismarck/Mandan Transit.
