Notice is hereby given that the Bismarck Planning & Zoning Commission will hold public hearings on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. in the Tom Baker Meeting Room, City-County Building, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota, to consider the following items:
- Request of Capital Electric Cooperative for approval of a zoning change from PUD – Planned Unit Development and CG – Commercial zoning districts to the PUD – Planned Unit Development and CG – Commercial zoning districts and a minor subdivision final plat for Schilling Second Addition, a 3-lot subdivision on 13.01 acres. The property is located in north Bismarck, south of 43rd Avenue NE, along the east side of the State Street frontage road (a replat of Lot 3, Block 1, Capital Electric Headquarters Addition and Lot 3, Block 1, Buffalo Jump Addition).
- Request of DPS Properties, LLP for approval of a minor subdivision final plat for Trillium Third Addition Second Replat, a 2-lot subdivision on 4.42 acres. The property is located in south Bismarck, south of East Bismarck Expressway and east of South 26th Street, in the southeast quadrant of the intersection of Rock Island Place and Burlington Drive (a replat of part of Lot 1, Block 1, Trillium Third Addition First Replat).
- Request of Bismarck MHP, LLC and Sanders & Sons Properties, LLC for approval of a zoning change from the CG – Commercial zoning district to the RMH – Residential zoning district for Auditor’s Lot 12 and parts of Auditor’s Lots 11, 17, 18, 19 and 20, Park Hill Auditor’s Lots. The property is located in west-central Bismarck, south of Memorial Highway and west of South Washington Street at the intersection of West Sweet Avenue and South Griffin Street.
- Request of Lana Sanders and Rod Kraft for approval of a special use permit to increase the total allowable area of accessory buildings to 2,900 square feet on Lot 1, Block 1, Hightop Acres Second Subdivision. The property is located north of Bismarck, north of 71st Avenue NE and east of 26th Street NE, in the northwest corner of the 73rd Avenue NE and Moonstone Lane intersection (7424 Moonstone Lane).
- Request of Missouri Valley YMCA for approval of a special use permit to allow an electronic message center sign on Lot 1, Block 1, YMCA Addition. The property is located in central Bismarck, in the southwest quadrant of the intersection of North Washington Street and Divide Avenue (1608 N Washington Street).
At the hearings, the Bismarck Planning & Zoning Commission will provide an opportunity for all interested parties to be heard with respect to these items. Interested parties may submit written or email comments regarding these requests no later than 8:00 AM the day of the meeting to the Community Development Department, PO Box 5503, Bismarck, North Dakota 58506-5503, fax: 701-222-6450, or e-mail. Written comments received after 8:00 AM on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 and those submitted anonymously will not be forwarded to the Planning & Zoning Commissioners or included in the minutes of the meeting.
