Starting today Friday, September 28, 2018, Avenue D will be closed to through traffic between 19th Street and 24th Street for work on the water main.
The closure will be in place until the end of the day Thursday, October 4, 2018, weather permitting.
Access to local residences will be maintained.
No detour will be in place.
Traffic is asked to seek alternate routes.
Suggested alternate route for eastbound traffic is 19th Street to Rosser Avenue to 24th Street. For westbound traffic, 24th Street to Rosser Avenue to 19th Street.
