Starting at 9:00 am Monday June 11, the intersection of 3^rd Street & Avenue C will be closed to through traffic for water and sewer main repairs.

The closure will be in place through the end of the day Thursday, June 14^th.

A detour will be in place.

Southbound traffic on 3^rd street will be detoured West at Avenue D to 4^th Street, South on 4^th Street to Avenue B, then West on Avenue B back to 3^rd street.

Northbound traffic on 3^rd street will be detoured West at Avenue B to 4^th Street, North on 4^th Street to Avenue D, then West on Avenue D back to 3^rd street.

Eastbound traffic on Avenue C will be detoured North at 2^nd Street to Avenue D, East on Avenue D to 4^th Street, then South on 4^th Street back to Avenue C.

Westbound traffic on Avenue C will be detoured North at 4^th Street to Avenue D, West on Avenue D to 2^nd Street, then South on 2^nd Street back to Avenue C.

Congestion can be expected during peak hour traffic. Traffic is asked to seek alternate routes.
