Bismarck Police Officers responded to the North Walmart, located at 1400 Skyline Boulevard at 10:56 A.M. today after receiving a report of a man in the store waving a machete and yelling incoherently.
Officers attempted to talk to the man and gave him commands to lay down the machete. The individual would not comply and one officer did deploy a Taser, after which the individual was taken into custody.
Arrested was Darvens H. Jean Mary, a 25-year-old male from Bismarck. Jean Mary was arrested for Terrorizing and transported to the Burleigh/Morton Detention Center. No one was injured during this incident.
