Mayor Mike Seminary and the Board of City Commissioners have proclaimed Nov. 4, Miss America 2018 Cara Mund Day in the City of Bismarck and extend congratulations and best wishes for her reign as Miss America. Citizens are encouraged to join in this observance and celebration.
On Sept. 10, Mund became the first Miss North Dakota to be crowned Miss America. A graduate of Bismarck Century High School, Mund has raised nearly $80,000 for Make-A-Wish through the North Dakota Make-A-Wish Fashion Show she founded 10 years ago and aspires to be North Dakota’s first female governor.
