11:30 PM on Thursday, August 17, the Bismarck Fire Department responded to a report
of Storage Units on fire at 301 Enterprise Street in Bismarck. Initial report was of a storage unit and
pickup truck on fire. The first arriving
crew gave an initial report of fire showing, established command, laid a fire
attack hoseline and proceeded to the structure to fight the fire. This was a 24 unit storage building. Firefighting crews searched the structure to
make sure no one was occupying one of the storage units. They were able to establish that no one was
in the structure. Secondary units
arrived and assisted with fire attack, search & extinguishment. Fourteen fire suppression people were
dispatched to the scene. Bismarck PD
assisted with investigation and scene control.
Metro Area Ambulance stood by but were not needed. Cause of the fire is under investigation.
