[ARCHIVED] MPO Announces Proposed Updates to Title VI/ADA Plan

Notice is hereby given that the public will have until 5pm Friday, July 14, 2017 to provide comment on proposed modifications to the Bismarck-Mandan Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Title VI and Non-Discrimination/ADA Program Access Plan (Title VI/ADA Plan).  The purpose of the Title VI/ADA Plan is to identify the MPO’s responsibilities in complying with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related regulations and statutes; the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and/or Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and all related regulations and statutes.

The purpose of the public comment period is to provide an opportunity for public involvement in reviewing the proposed modifications to the Title VI/ADA Plan.  Furthermore, the public is notified that the draft Title VI/ADA Plan will be available to view at the Bismarck-Mandan MPO office located in the Bismarck Community Development Department on 2nd Floor of the City/County Office Building, 221 N. 5th Street, or by clicking on the link below.

The public is invited to submit written comments to the Bismarck-Mandan MPO no later than 5:00 pm, Friday, July 14, 2017 to PO Box 5503, Bismarck, ND  58506-5503.  Comments should be directed to Steve Saunders and faxed to (701) 222-6450, Emailed, or sent to the above address.  Emailed comments should be identified as public input on the proposed modifications to the Title VI/ADA Plan.  Contact Steve Saunders, MPO Executive Director, for more information at (701) 355-1848.
