Starting at 8:00 am on Wednesday, August 17, 2016, the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad crossing at 12th Street will be closed for improvements as part of the Quiet Rail Project and is expected to be in place for 2 weeks. A detour will be in place.
Southbound traffic will follow the detour route of west on Main Avenue to 7th Street, then south on 7th Street to Front Avenue, and then east on Front Avenue back to 12th Street.
Northbound traffic will follow the detour route of west on Front Avenue to 9th Street, then north on 9th Street to Main Avenue, and then east on Main Avenue back to 12th Street.
