The Bismarck Police Department is investigating a crash that occurred last night where
two pedestrians were injured.
On Jan. 29 at 10:52 p.m. Bismarck Police responded to a crash involving one vehicle
and two pedestrians. The crash occurred 213 feet south of the intersection of 3rd Street and
Bowen Avenue.
A 31 year old Bismarck man was driving southbound on 3rd Street when he struck a 23
year old Bismarck man and 24 year old Bismarck woman who were on foot crossing 3rd Street.
The two pedestrians were not in a crosswalk when they were struck.
Both pedestrians were transported by Metro Area Ambulance to St. Alexius. The male
was released after being checked by medical personnel. The woman remained in the hospital
overnight.
The case is under investigation.
