Notice is hereby given that the Board of City Commissioners on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 and August 10, 2010 approved a zoning ordinance text amendment that modified many sections of the City’s Floodplain Regulations and brought them in line with requirements of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The amendments also included provisions that require new residential structures, attendant utilities, accessory buildings and substantial improvements to existing structures to be elevated on fill to at least two feet above the base flood elevation.
This ordinance is available for copying and inspection during normal working hours in the office of the City Administrator.
