[ARCHIVED] Bismarck Planning and Zoning Commission to hold public hearings.

Notice is hereby given that the Bismarck Planning & Zoning Commission will hold public hearings on Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at 5:00 p.m. in the Tom Baker Meeting Room, City-County Building, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota, to consider the following items:

• Request of the Verity Homes of Bismarck, LLC for approval of a major PUD amendment for Madison Lane Addition. The PUD amendment would allow the construction of a twinhome on a previously designated private park area (Lot 33, Block 1) and move the private park area to two lots (Lots 10-11, Block 1).

• Request of Jomani Developing, LLC for approval of a zoning change from the CG-Commercial zoning district to the RT-Residential zoning district on the West 40 feet of Lot 1, Block 1, Sonnet Heights Subdivision Fifth Replat. The property is located in north Bismarck along the west side of Ottawa Street west of US Highway 83 between LaSalle Drive and Bremner Avenue.

• Request of Koch Construction, Inc. for approval of a zoning change from the RM15-Residential zoning district to the RT-Residential zoning district on Lot 4B, Block 3, North Hills Fifteenth Addition. The property is located in north Bismarck, south of 43rd Avenue NE along the west side of Coleman Street.

• Request of 14 Guys, LLP for approval of a zoning change from the R10-Residential zoning district to the CA-Commercial zoning district on Auditor’s Lot A of Lot 13, Lot 14, Lot 16 & Auditor’s Lot A of Lot 17, Block 1, Boulder Ridge First Addition. The property is located in north Bismarck, north of 43rd Avenue NE between North Washington Street and Boulder Ridge Road.

• Request of The Boutrous Group, LLP for approval of a special use permit to allow a digital billboard to be located less than 300 feet from a residentially zoned property. The property is located in central Bismarck, along the north side of East Capitol Avenue and the west side of North 12th Street west of State Street and is legally described as Lot 1, Block 1, Boutrous 3rd Addition (2112 North 12th Street).

• Request of BNC National Bank for approval of a special use permit to allow a drive-through in conjunction with a financial institution to be located on Lot 4A, Block 1, Sunrise Town Centre Addition. The property is located in northeast Bismarck, east of Centennial Road between East Century Avenue and Saratoga Avenue (3000 Yorktown Drive).

At these hearings, the Bismarck Planning & Zoning Commission will provide an opportunity for all interested persons to be heard with respect to these items. Interested persons may also submit written comments regarding these requests prior to the meeting to the Community Development Department, PO Box 5503, Bismarck, North Dakota 58506-5503, fax: 701-222-6450, or e-mail - planning@bismarcknd.gov. Interested persons may also call 701-355-1840 with questions or for additional information.
Descriptions of these requests are on file and may be viewed or copied any working day between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the City-County Community Development Department, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota.
