[ARCHIVED] Bismarck Planning and Zoning Commission to hold public hearings

Notice is hereby given that the Bismarck Planning & Zoning Commission will hold public hearings on Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at 5:00 p.m. in the Tom Baker Meeting Room, City-County Building, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota, to consider the following items:

• Request of Christopher Krein, Brian Gebeke and Misty Waters, LLC for approval of a minor subdivision final plat for Misty Waters First Replat, a 10 lot subdivision on 5.60 acres. The property is located northwest of Bismarck, along either side of Misty Waters Drive north of Burnt Creek Loop (a replat of Lots 82-84, Block 1 and Lots 38-40, Block 3, Misty Waters).

• Request of Leichty Homes, Inc. and Verity Homes of Bismarck, LLC for approval of a minor subdivision final plat for Stoneridge Addition, a 27 lot subdivision on 2.96 acres. The property is located in northeast Bismarck, along the south side of East Calgary Avenue, west of Centennial Road (a replat of Lots 2 & 3, Block 2 and Lots 4, 5 & 6, Block 3, Stonecrest Second Addition).

• Request of Leichty Homes, Inc. and Verity Homes of Bismarck, LLC for approval of a zoning change from the RM30-Residential zoning district to the PUD-Planned Unit Development zoning district on Stoneridge Addition. The PUD zoning would allow the construction of a six-building, 27-unit row house development. The property is located in northeast Bismarck, along the south side of East Calgary Avenue, west of Centennial Road (a replat of Lots 2 & 3, Block 2 and Lots 4-6, Block 3, Stonecrest Second Addition).

• Request of Liberty Homes, LLP for approval of a minor subdivision final plat for Sonnet Heights Subdivision Sixth Replat, a 37 lot subdivision on 4.88 acres. The property is located in north Bismarck, along the south side of 57th Avenue NE, between Yukon Drive and Normandy Street (a replat of Lots 1-4, Block 3, Sonnet Heights Subdivision).

• Request of Jerry Kessel for approval of a zoning change from the RR-Residential zoning district to the R10-Residential and Conditional RT-Residential zoning districts on Lot 2, Block 3, KMK Estates. The property is located in northwest Bismarck, along the west side of North Washington Street and the north side of Arabian Avenue.

• Request of the Diocese of Bismarck for approval of a major PUD amendment for all of Block 15, McKenzie’s Addition. The PUD amendment would allow the demolition and reconstruction of the office building in the northeast corner of the block (520 North Washington Street), the conversion of the building in the southeast corner of the block (304 West Avenue A – CB Little House) to a residential use for the Diocese, and the demolition of the maintenance building in the center of the block. The property is located in central Bismarck along the west side of North Washington Street between East Avenue A and East Avenue B.

• Request of SNT Development, Inc. for approval of a special use permit to allow the construction and operation of a coffee shop with a drive-through on Lot 1B of Lot 1 and the North 85.35 feet of Lot 2, Block 1, Sunrise Town Centre Addition. The property is located in northeast Bismarck, east of Centennial Road between East Century Avenue and Saratoga Avenue.

At these hearings, the Bismarck Planning & Zoning Commission will provide an opportunity for all interested persons to be heard with respect to these items. Descriptions of these requests are on file and may be viewed or copied any working day between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the City’s Community Development Department, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota.
