The City of Bismarck Street Department continues with the city-wide street sweeping project.
Residents are asked to:
• Move vehicles and trailers off of city streets before the sweepers are in their area.
• Rake sand (not grass or leaves) from their boulevard into the street.
• Do not rake sand in street if there is no heavy precipitation forecast.
• Do not rake sand in street more than one week in advance of the sweeping schedule.
• Do not rake sand in street if sweepers have already been in your area.
Rake sand into a box and set it out for garbage collection or take it to the landfill.
Street Sweeping Hours of Operation
Monday – Friday from 5: a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Sweeping schedule is subject to change without notice.
Sweeping Direction: North border to south border and east border to west border.
