Starting at 8:30 am on Monday, April 7th, 2014, 5th Street will be closed to through traffic between Front Avenue and Sweet Avenue. The closure will be in place for approximately one week. The closure is due to construction on the Civic Center.
Access will be provided to local businesses.
No detour will be in place.
Southbound traffic on 5th Street will be rerouted west on Front Avenue to 3rd Street, south on 3rd Street to Sweet Avenue and east on Bowen Avenue back to 5th Street.
Northbound traffic on 5th Street will be rerouted west on Sweet Avenue to 3rd Street, north on 3rd Street to Front Avenue, east on Front Avenue back to 5th Street.
