Fox Island and Southport will be open from 6:30 am – 9:00 pm on Thursday, June 9th, with restrictions.
Restrictions:• The only entrances will be Riverwood Drive and England Street (accessed from Calypso Drive) on the south side of Fox Island.• Travelers need to be cautious due to the narrow width on the causeway which will allow one vehicle at a time.
• The only traffic permitted will be cars and light, pickup trucks. Light trailers are permitted on Riverwood Drive only.
Citizens are reminded to stay off the levees.
