Notice is hereby given that the Bismarck Planning & Zoning Commission will hold public hearings on Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at 5:00 p.m. in the Tom Baker Meeting Room, City-County Building, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota, to consider the following items:
• Request of Edgewood Village 2nd Addition LLLP, for approval of a zoning change from the R10-Residential and RM15-Residential zoning districts to the R10-Residential zoning district for Edgewood Village Fifth Addition. The property is located in northeast Bismarck, north of Century Avenue, between Colorado Drive and Nebraska Drive (a replat of Lots 11, 18, 65 and part of Lot 64, Block 1, Edgewood Village Second Addition, in part of the W1/2 of Section 23, T139N-R80W/Hay Creek Township).
• Request of Edgewood Village 2nd Addition LLLP, for approval of a minor subdivision final plat for Edgewood Village Fifth Addition, an 18 lot subdivision on 5.15 acres.
• Request of James Kessler, for approval of a zoning change from the A-Agricultural and RR-Residential zoning districts to the RR-Residential zoning district for Rock Creek 3rd Subdivision. The property is located 4.6 miles east of US Highway 83, north of 71st Avenue (part of the SE1/4 of Section 5, T139N-R79W/Gibbs Township, including a replat of Lot 1, Block 5, Rock Creek 2nd Subdivision).
• Request of James Kessler, for approval of a final plat for Rock Creek 3rd Subdivision, a 1 lot subdivision on 2.34 acres.
• Request of Landcore, LLC, for approval of a zoning change from the A-Agricultural zoning district to the RR-Residential zoning district for Copper Ridge 3rd Subdivision. The property is located south of 62nd Avenue SE between 52nd Street SE and 66th Street SE (Section 31, T138N-R79W/Apple Creek Township, less those parts previously platted as Copper Ridge Subdivision and Copper Ridge 2nd Subdivision).
• Request of Landcore, LLC, for approval of a final plat for Copper Ridge 3rd Subdivision, a 161 lot subdivision on 367.75 acres.
• Request of the City of Bismarck, for approval of a zoning change from the R5-Residential and RT-Residential zoning districts to the P-Public zoning district for the South 180 feet of the West 715.29 feet of the East 924 feet of the SE1/4 of the SE1/4 of Section 30, T139N-R80W/Hay Creek Township. The property is located in northwest Bismarck on the campus of Bismarck State College, along the south side of Canary Avenue approximately 200 feet west of Schafer Street.
• Request of Exploring Minds Development Center and Wade and Brandi Lynch, for a special use permit to allow a day care center to be located on the South 120 feet of the West 130 feet of Lot 10, Block 1, Register Commercial Park First Addition. The property is located along the north side of Interstate Avenue east of 9th Street North (928 East Interstate Avenue).
• Request of the Burleigh County Highway Department and Michael & David Esposito, for a special use permit to allow a roadway maintenance facility to be located in the SW¼ of the SW¼ of Section 16, T139N-R79W/Gibbs Township. The property is a 40-acre tract located along the east side of 80th Street NE north of 43rd Avenue NE.
At these hearings, the City Planning & Zoning Commission will provide an opportunity for all interested persons to be heard with respect to these items.
