To All Area Residents and Travelers,
We’re pleased to announce a major milestone on the improvements along 52nd Avenue and Century Avenue. Since our last update, the project has made excellent progress:
- Roadway construction is fully completed.
- All sidewalks and ADA-compliant crosswalks are installed.
- Streetlights are now standing and fully operational.
- Topsoil has been placed and trees planted.
- Temporary pavement markings and permanent signing on-going.
- Grass seed and mulch finishing up in the coming days.
- Anticipated Open to Traffic Date: 10/29/2025
Looking Ahead: Final Touches in 2026
While the main construction is complete, please note that some minor finishing work is scheduled for next year. This will include:
- Permanent striping
- Chip sealing
- Minor landscaping enhancements
These final touches will ensure the long-term durability and aesthetics of the roadway.
