BISMARCK, ND—The Bismarck Fire Department extinguished a fire at a mobile home on the northeast side of town on Friday morning.
At approximately 6:25 AM on March 28th,2025, the Bismarck Fire Department received a call for a structure fire in a mobile home at 2500 Centennial RD. Bismarck Fire crews were dispatched to the scene.
Firefighters arrived on the scene at 6:29 AM to find heavy smoke coming from a single wide trailer home. Firefighters forced the front door, and with a charged hose line, they extinguished the fire while doing a primary search of the residence. The fire was located in the living room and kitchen area. Once the fire was out, an overhaul was conducted to find and extinguish any smoldering materials.
No injuries were reported to the occupants of the home or firefighters.
There was heavy fire damage to the living room and kitchen and smoke damage throughout the rest of the house. A fire investigation was conducted. The origin was found to involve a wood-burning stove, and the cause was determined to be accidental.
