Bismarck’s yard waste collection sites will open on Saturday, March 29th. Please do not dump your grass on the ground. 
Follow the instructions listed below when using these sites so we can continue this service.
Instructions:
- Do Not dump grass on the ground. If containers are full, please use another site or bring back later.
- If you have a trailer full of grass, please empty it at the landfill during regular hours.
- No Commercial Dumping
- Yard Waste is compostable and reusable. When unacceptable items are placed in the yard waste dumpster, the load becomes contaminated and must be buried at Site 1 along with other garbage. This shortens the life of the landfill and in turn costs taxpayers money.
