Due to health regulations, the Salvation Army is no longer accepting baked goods to give to volunteers helping in the city’s flood fight.
Anything packaged and store bought is welcome. Things like bread, sandwich meat, juice and water are also being accepted. Sandwiches cannot be made with cheese or condiments like mayonnaise, because of health regulations.
Donations can be dropped off at the Salvation Army at 601 South Washington Street.
