Bismarck City offices and the landfill will be closed on Monday, May 27th in observance of the Memorial Day holiday and there will be no garbage collection or curbside recycling (gold route) collection. Garbage and Recycling collection services will be delayed by one day all week.
Holiday Schedule: May 27-31 Garbage and Recycling Collection:
- Monday, May 27th no garbage or recycling collection.
- Monday through Thursday routes will be delayed by one day all week. (Example: Monday’s route will be picked up Tuesday, Tuesday’s route will be picked up Wednesday, etc.)
- Garbage and Recycling must be set out by 6:00 a.m. on collection day and may be set out the evening before collection.
- Crews will not be dispatched to return to an address where items were not out in time for the initial collection.

- Open Tuesday through Saturday from 8am - 4pm
Household Hazardous Waste & Electronics Recycling Center
- Closed on Monday, May 27th.
- Open Tuesday through Friday from 8am - 3pm
- Open Saturday, May 1st from 9am – 2pm
