BISMARCK, ND—The Bismarck Fire Department extinguished a fire at a single-family home in North Bismarck this afternoon.
At approximately 3:34 PM on March 29, 2024, the Bismarck Fire Department received a call for a structure fire at a home on the 800 block of North 16th Street. Bismarck fire crews were dispatched to the scene.
Firefighters arrived on the scene at 3:38 pm to find a single-family house with smoke and fire coming from the area around the front of the home. All occupants were out of the home when the fire crews arrived. Firefighters put out the fire and then conducted an overhaul to find any remaining smoldering materials.
There were no injuries sustained to civilians or fire personnel.
Fire damage was contained to the room of origin with smoke damage extending throughout the house. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
