BISMARCK-MANDAN AREA MPO Seeking Public Feedback on Master Transportation Plan

The Bismarck-Mandan Area MPO is inviting the public to an open house on November 9, to receive input on the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP). The MPO will hold the open house to introduce the MTP project and collect resident input on transportation needs and issues in the area. Public input will aid in defining goals and direction for the plan. An MTP is a long-range plan for the transportation needs and priorities of the area. The MTP will analyze current transportation conditions, anticipate future scenarios, and provide recommendations for future transportation investments in Bismarck and Mandan.

There will be two options to attend an in-person open house. Both will be on November 9, 2023. One will be held in Bismarck at the Missouri Valley Family YMCA from 11:30a.m. – 1:30 p.m. The other will be in Mandan at the Innovation Barn from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. If you are unable to attend either one you can review the meeting materials and provide feedback through the online meeting that will run until December 9, 2023. More details on the open houses are provided below. There will be no formal presentation. Comments will be accepted until December 9, 2023, and may be submitted at the open house, via mail, email or directly to one of the project contacts.
