[ARCHIVED] eTRAKiT System Upgrade and Temporary Outage

BISMARCK, N.D. – The City of Bismarck will be upgrading its land records management system which will impact the eTRAKiT application system. This system will be down beginning at 5:00 P.M. (CST) on Thursday, November 12th through Friday, November 13th.

Permits, projects and licenses will not be able to be applied for during this time.  Inspections will also not be able to be scheduled to take place on November 13. However, you may continue to schedule an inspection to take place at a future date by calling 355-1465.  Please note, final building inspections will not be able to be conducted on Friday, November 13th.

The upgraded, eTRAKiT application system implements new processes to make it easier for applicants and contractors. Enhanced features include: faster speed, heightened security, a more user-friendly environment, the ability to pay for applications with an eCheck, and automatically email inspection results as soon as they are complete.

It is important for users of the eTRAKiT application system to take note of the following changes:

Users will be asked to change their password upon first log-in to the new system

The option to request an invoice (bill me) through eTRAKiT is being removed. However, registered contractors will be able to request an invoice as part of their application process and City staff will make sure one is sent to them.
