[ARCHIVED] eTrakit System Upgrade and Outage

The City of Bismarck will be upgrading its land records management system which will impact the eTrakit application system. This system will be down beginning at 5:00 PM (CST) on Thursday, November 12th, through Friday, November 13th. Permits, projects and licenses will not be able to be applied for during this time.  Inspections will also not be able to be scheduled to take place on November 13th. However, you may still schedule an inspection to take place on this day by calling 355-1465.  Please note, final building inspections will not be able to be conducted on Friday, November 13th.


We want to share some exciting information with you related to the upgrade of the eTrakit application system happening in the near future including the following:

              - The speed will be much faster

              - The website is more secure

              - The new system will be more user friendly

              - You will now be able to pay for applications with an eCheck

              - We have gained the ability to automatically email inspection results as soon as they are complete


Some things that you will notice changes to:

               - Users will be asked to change your password upon first log-in to the new system

               - The option to request an invoice (bill me) through eTrakit is being removed. However, registered contractors will be able to request an invoice as part of their application                               process and City staff will make sure one is sent to you.

The eTRAKiT land records management system provides citizens and contractors with easy and convenient online access to permitting, parcel, property and project information, and allows for payment of permit and license fees on-line.
