Amber Alert Issued: LeahMae Dawn Morsette

Bismarck Police have issued a Amber Alert for missing 7 month old, LeahMae Dawn Morsette, who was discovered to be missing by police around 9:00 p.m on June 24th, 2019.

LeahMae is possibly with Cole Lee Pfaff, 31.

UPDATE: June 25, 2019, 1:17 P.M.

Please be aware of a large police presence in the area on the west end of Sertoma Park. Officers and family members are conducting searches in the area on foot and ATV, as well as air and water resources from other agencies. We will continue to update as more information becomes available.


UPDATE: June 25, 2091, 9:53 A.M.

Bismarck Police are actively searching for 7 month old, LeahMae Dawn Morsette, who was discovered to be missing by police around 9:00 p.m on June 24th, 2019. 

At this time, we have reason to believe the mother may have left LeahMae in the care of Cole Lee Pfaff, 31 years old.  His whereabouts are currently unknown and we are asking for the public’s assistance to locate Cole.  LeahMae could possibly be in a stroller with an infant car seat and have a blue and white unicorn diaper bag with her.

We are also asking that anyone in the area of the 300 Blk of W Arbor Ave that has outdoor surveillance to please review their video starting around 1:00 a.m. on June 23rd, 2019.

Assistance Needed Locating Missing Infant: June 24, 2019, 10:23 P.M.

LeahMae Dawn Morsette, 7 months old, was discovered to be missing by police around 9:00 p.m. tonight, June 24th, 2019.  She was last seen on video surveillance with her mother in the 300 Block of West Arbor Ave around 1:00 a.m. this morning.  

LeahMae is described as a Native American female with curly black hair just past her ears and brown eyes.  She is believed to be wearing a tan button up onesie with shorts over the top or a magenta shirt with pink shorts.

LeahMae’s mother was arrested this evening and was unable to provide information as to her whereabouts or who she may be with.
