Governor Bergum Proclaims Fire Prevention Week Oct. 8- 14. The governor’s directive is in accordance with a proclamation issued by President Donald Trump, who has proclaimed Oct. 8-14 as Fire Prevention Week. The president also called on all Americans to participate in the observance with appropriate programs and activities and by renewing their efforts to prevent fires and their tragic consequences.
