[ARCHIVED] Bismarck Fire Department Responds to Two Early Morning Fires

At 2:15 a.m. on Wednesday, September 6th, the Bismarck Fire Department responded to a building fire with smoke and flames showing at 222 South Washington Street in Bismarck.  The investigation conducted by the Bismarck Fire and Police Departments determined the incident to be suspicious.  Bismarck PD is continuing its investigation.

A separate fire was reported at 7:39 a.m. on Wednesday, September 6th at 250 North 31st Street.  Dispatched fire units were informed that the fire was on the exterior of the building and was out.  The first arriving crew gave an initial report of no fire or smoke showing.  The building houses business offices.  The responding crew checked the building for any interior extension of fire.  Bismarck PD assisted with investigation and scene control.  The fire cause has been determined to be intentional and turned over to the Bismarck PD.
