Around 2:15 AM on Wednesday, September 6th,
the Bismarck Fire Department responded to report of building fire with smokeand flames showing at 222 South Washington Street in Bismarck.
The first arriving crew gave an initial
report of fire showing, established command, laid a hose line for fire attackand proceeded to the structure to fight the fire. This was a maintenance building for the
ballpark. Firefighting crews searchedthe structure to make sure no one was inside at the time of the fire. They were able to establish that no one was
in the structure. Secondary unitsarrived and assisted with fire attack, ventilation & extinguishment. Seventeen fire suppression people were
dispatched to the scene. Bismarck PDassisted with investigation and scene control. Metro Area Ambulance stood by. Cause of the fire is under investigation.
