[ARCHIVED] Brief power outage planned for section of south Bismarck late Thurs., July 20, early Fri., July 21

Montana-Dakota Utilities customers in a small section of south Bismarck will experience two brief 15- to 30-minute power outages between 10 p.m. Thursday, July 20, and 2 a.m. Friday, July 21. The affected area includes a small section just south of Denver Avenue between Washington Street and Pocatello Drive, expanding east to Omaha Drive and south to the loops of Billings Drive, Houston Drive and Macon Drive. A map of the outage area can be found on the company’s website. The outage is required to connect the final circuit to the new Ninth Street Substation. Montana-Dakota recommends that customers take time to prepare for this outage by backing up or shutting down computers and other electronic equipment.
