With the recent snowfall, Public Works crews are plowing and sanding snow emergency routes, school routes, and major arterial streets. Crews continue to work 24/7. Downtown snow removal efforts are cancelled for tonight. The City will continue snow hauling and street widening efforts once the city is cleared.
Please move vehicles off streets to aid in snow removal operation. Keep them off the street until the plows have cleaned your street. According to City Ordinance a person may not move, dump or deposit by any means any snow or ice accumulated on private property onto any public street, alley, or public right-of-way. The fine for this violation is up to $1,000.
