Notice is hereby given that the Bismarck City Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at 5:15 p.m. in the Tom Baker Meeting Room, City-County Building, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota, to consider the following items:
• Request of the City of Bismarck for approval of a zoning ordinance text amendment relating to the CR-Commercial zoning district. The proposed amendment would remove the CR-Commercial zoning district from Title 14 of the Bismarck Code of Ordinances and eliminate references to the CR and CB zoning districts throughout Title 14.
• Request of the City of Bismarck for approval of a zoning ordinance text amendment relating to Incidental Uses/RMH-Residential zoning district. The proposed amendment would clarify provisions for accessory buildings in the RMH-Residential zoning district.
• Request of Ronald and Ruth Knutson and RBK Ventures, LLP for approval of the annexation of Lot 1, Block 2, Memory 1st Addition, along with all of the Elbowoods Lane right-of-way and that part of the North 19th Street right-of-way from an extension of the southern right-of-way line of Elbowoods Lane north to the northern edge of the plat; approval of an amendment to the Future Land Use Plan in the 2014 Growth Management Plan, as amended, to extend the Industrial land use classification in the southwest portion of the SW1/4 of Section 10, T139N-R80W/Hay Creek Township west to the future extension of North 19th Street from 57th Avenue NE north to where Hay Creek crosses North 19th Street; and approval of a zoning change from the A-Agricultural zoning district to the CG-Commercial and MA-Industrial zoning districts for Memory 1st Addition, an 8-lot subdivision on 66.53 acres. The property is located north of Bismarck, along the east side of US Highway 83/State Street and the north side of an eastern extension of 57th Avenue NE (part of the SW1/4 of Section 10 and the NW1/4 of Section 15, T139N-R80W/Hay Creek Township).
