[ARCHIVED] Bismarck Fire Department Responds to Overturned Camper

At 12:57 am, Tuesday, the Bismarck Fire Department responded to the North Walmart, at 1400 Skyline Boulevard, for a report of an overturned camper with three people trapped inside.

Upon arrival, firefighters found the camper lying on its’ side as a result of the high winds that had come through with the storm. A police officer was on scene at the rear of the trailer speaking with the occupants inside. The police officer indicated all three people inside were ambulatory and none were pinned. Rear window glass was removed to extricate the occupants from the camper, which was tipped onto the side with the door. Metro Ambulance was on scene and assumed care of two of the patients. The third person refused treatment. Fire crews remained on scene until the camper was uprighted.
