Food for Fines

Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library is partnering with Morton Mandan Public Library on a Food for Fines event. A great opportunity to support our communities this holiday season - and reduce your library fines at the same time!
Overdue fines will be waived on items from Bismarck or Morton Mandan Public Library, up to three dollars for every can of food. This applies to overdue fines only (lost/damaged items, collection agency accounts and fines from other libraries not included).
All donations will go directly to Aid, Inc. Food Pantry, a non-profit organization that provides emergency, temporary assistance to the working poor in Morton and Burleigh Counties.
