City of Bismarck forestry crews have begun maintenance activities in the Chancellor Square area, downtown on Thayer Ave. between 4th and 6th Street. Forestry crews are working on the removal of juniper shrubs in the planting beds. Once the junipers are removed, staff will begin preparing the beds for mulch and perennials.
Motorists and pedestrians are asked to use caution, obey signs and to be courteous when approaching forestry staff working in the Chancellor Square area. Work in this area is expected to continue for the next 30 days, as weather permits.
