Starting at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, June 16, 2014, Washington Street between Medora Avenue and 57th Avenue will be closed to traffic for the construction of the LaSalle Drive and Washington Street intersection. A detour will be in place.
The closure will be in place for two weeks, weather permitting.
The following detour routes will be used:
Southbound traffic on Washington Street will be detoured east on ND Hwy 1804 to US Hwy 83, then south on US Hwy 83 to 43rd Avenue, and then west of 43rd Avenue back to Washington Street.
Northbound traffic on Washington Street will be detoured east on 43rd Avenue to US Hwy 83, then north on US Hwy 83 to ND Hwy 1804, and then west on ND Hwy 1804 back to Washington Street.
Access for residents of Boulder Ridge and Horizon Heights will be open up to Medora Avenue. Green Acres residents should use the detour route.
Traffic is asked to seek alternate routes.
