The book was published on the 125th anniversary of the year North and South Dakota became states and speaks to the natural beauty of the prairie and the fascinating people-both past and present-found along the road. The program is scheduled for 6:30pm on Wednesday, April 23 in Meeting Room A. It is free and open to the public. Books will be available for purchase ($19.99) and Magnuson will autograph them after the discussion. The event is sponsored by the Bismarck Historical Society and Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library.
