Starting at 8:00 am on Wednesday, July 21st, the City of Bismarck Street Department will be milling the roadway on River Road between Pioneer Park and the north entrance of the Water Treatment Plant. River Road will be closed to through Traffic.
This operation will be done in two parts. The north portion from Meriwether’s to Burnt Boat Drive will be done today. Traffic accessing this area should come from the Main Avenue.
Tomorrow (Thursday, July 22nd) the south portion from the Water Treatment Plant to Meriwether’s will be done. Traffic should access this area from Burnt Boat Drive.
Motorists are encouraged to use an alternate route during the milling/overlay operation. Drivers should exercise caution in this area.
Weather permitting; the milling operation will take place Wednesday, July 21st and finish by Friday, July 23rd.
