[ARCHIVED] Burleigh County Planning Commission Public Hearing Notice - June 13, 2012

Notice is hereby given that the Burleigh County Planning Commission will hold public hearings on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 5:15 p.m. in the Tom Baker Meeting Room, City-County Office Building, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota, to consider the following items:

• Request of Ron Andahl for approval of a land use plan amendment for that portion of Section 9, T140N-R80W/Burnt Creek Township lying east of US Highway 83, to introduce the rural residential and commercial land use classifications in this section. The property is located along the east side of US Highway 83 north of 136th Avenue NE.

• Request of Ron Andahl for approval of a zoning change from the A-Agriculture zoning district to the R1-Country Homes Residential and CM-Major Commercial zoning districts on part of the NE1/4, Auditor’s Lot A of the NW1/4, Auditor’s Lots A and B of the SW1/4, Auditor’s Lot A of the SE1/4 and SE1/4 less Auditor’s Lot A of Section 9, T140N-R80W/Burnt Creek Township. The property is located along the east side of US Highway 83 north of 136th Avenue NE.

• Request of Mabel Weisz & Jay Engdahl (owners) and Art Mariner & Greg Mariner (applicants) for approval of a zoning change from the A-Agriculture zoning district to the R1-Country Homes Residential zoning district on Country Hills Subdivision. The property is located along the north side of 71st Avenue NE approximately 1/4 mile east of 80th Street NE (part of the SE1/4 and part of the SW1/4 of Section 4, T139N-R79W/Gibbs Township).

• Request of Mabel Weisz & Jay Engdahl (owners) and Art Mariner & Greg Mariner (applicants) for approval of a final plat for Country Hills Subdivision, a 65 lot subdivision on 126.46 acres. The property is located along the north side of 71st Avenue NE approximately 1/4 mile east of 80th Street NE.

• Request of Nathaniel & Rebecca Swenson (owners) and Norlyn Swenson (applicant) for approval of a variance to increase the size of an accessory building constructed prior to the principal dwelling from 1200 square feet to 2400 square feet on Lot 10, Block 1, Missouri Forest. The property is located west of River Road, along the east side of Sand Dune Lane south of 149th Avenue NW.

At the hearings, the Burleigh County Planning Commission will provide an opportunity for all interested persons to be heard with respect to these items.
