Starting at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 21, 2012, 4th Street between Central Avenue and Turnpike Avenue will be closed to through traffic to make connection to the water main located on the west side of 4th Street.
This closure will be in place for approximately 5 working days, weather permitting
A detour will be in place.
Northbound traffic should turn left on Central Avenue to 3rd Street, then north on 3rd Street to Turnipike Avenue, then east back to 4th Street.
Southbound traffic should turn right on Turnpike Avenue to 3rd Street, then south on 3rd Street to Central Avenue, then east back to 4th Street.
Drivers can expect to encounter congestion during peak traffic periods at the 4th Street and Divide Avenue intersection.
Drivers should exercise caution in the area north of Divide Avenue near the 4th Street school crossing before and after school.
Drivers are urged to utilize alternate routes.
