Mobility 2017 is the 2012-2017 Transit Development Plan being developed for the Bismarck-Mandan area. The purpose of the “Let’s Talk Transit” meetings is to share the goals of the plan, to present preliminary findings, and to hear from members of the public about transportation needs and priorities, as well as the vision for future public transportation in Bismarck and Mandan.
The Plan provides a roadmap for transit service and how to pay for it over the next five years. The effort is being managed by the Bismarck-Mandan Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) and Capital Area Transit/Bis-Man Transit. Nelson\Nygaard Consulting Associates was hired to lead the project, and is working with Kadrmas, Lee & Jackson, Inc.
Representatives from Nelson\Nygaard, Bismarck-Mandan MPO and Bis-Man Transit will be present to address comments and answer questions.
