[ARCHIVED] Flood Clean-up Training July 18 and 19

NDSU Extension Service and Lutheran Disaster Response will sponsor two flood clean-up training days in Bismarck; one addressing homeowner issues and another for volunteers and volunteer supervisors. Training will be July 18 and 19 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Washington Street and Divide Avenue.

Training to teach homeowners how to properly clean and repair flooded homes are July 18, 4-6 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.

Training for volunteer supervisors is 4-6 p.m. July 19; volunteer training is 7-9 p.m. that day.A free will offering dinner will be provided from 6 to 7 p.m.

Training will be by Ken Hellevang, NDSU Extension Engineer Specialist. Classes are free and open to the public but space is limited. Contact the Burleigh County Extension Office at 221-6865 by July 15 to register.
