The DRAFT update of the Bismarck Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan (MHMP) is available for public comment through February 28, 2026. The plan identifies natural hazards (ex: flood, winter storms) as well as technological and human-caused hazards. A key component of the document is to identify mitigation actions to minimize impact. The plan is developed through a coordinated effort to include many planning partners and public input.
