Annual Leave

  • First three years: City Employees 8 hours/month - Fire Employees: 10.6 hours/month
  • Four to seven years: City Employees 10 hours/month - Fire Employees: 13.3 hours/month
  • Eight to twelve years: City Employees 12 hours/month - Fire Employees: 15.9 hours/month
  • Thirteen to eighteen years: City Employees 14 hours/month - Fire Employees: 18.6 hours/month
  • Over 18 years: City Employees 16 hours/month - Fire Employees: 21.2 hours/month

The maximum year-end balance is:

  • City employees = 360 hours
  • Fire employees = 477 hours

Sick Leave

Full time, regular employees are eligible for sick leave.

  • City employees: 8 hours/month
  • Firefighters: 10.6 hours/month
