Flood Resources
Bismarck is rated in the CRS Class 7, which entitles residents within the city limits and ETA to a 15% discount on their flood insurance premiums.

Grants
The City of Bismarck receives an annual allocation of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). These funds must be used for community activities that primarily benefit low and moderate income persons or for removal of slum and blight.

Land Use & Development
The Planning Division administers land use regulations and coordinates the development application process for the City Planning & Zoning Commission and the Board of Adjustment.
